Oscar has led Industrial Design workstreams for various drug delivery devices including platform products for novel therapies (below), wearable insulin delivery systems, inhalers (below) and more. He has been responsible for all aspects of the user and patient experience including casework design, interface design and use sequence optimisation, in addition to peripheral elements of the product system including IFUs and secondary packaging for very high volume manufacture.
He has originated, won and managed projects for enterprise level, global medical accounts - aligning his design team's work with various other multi-disciplinary client-side or external groups working simultaneously in multiple locations worldwide.
As a natural part of this work he has visited client manufacturing locations, hosted innovation workshops with international C-suite attendees, and worked extremely closely with manufacturing experts, engineering teams and HFE experts.
Most of these projects remain confidential. The wearable device below is a representative concept designed at Tone Product Design.
