Ensuring design and experience consistency across physical and digital touchpoints is critical to reducing user related errors, especially when dealing with complex medical systems.
Oscar has designed and led UX/UI projects for various medical apps, desktop software systems and embedded digital interfaces. These include a companion app for diagnostics screening (below), training apps, an embedded interface for a home dialysis machine, and more.
He has also managed supporting usability engineering activities including formative usability studies for software and companion apps - both in the UK and US.
Many of these projects required close collaboration between hardware engineering, software development, regulatory and commercial teams.
